Why We Exist
Canada's primary care crisis demands new approaches to connecting patients with doctors.
Canada continues to experience significant access gaps in primary care. According to CIHI data, millions of Canadians lack regular access to a family doctor, leading to worse health outcomes and increased pressure on hospital emergency departments.
In Ontario alone, more than 2.5 million people are without a family doctor. When clinics pause intake, they face a constant stream of calls asking the same question: "Are you accepting new patients?" This creates administrative strain for reception staff and frustration for patients who don't know where to turn next.
ClinicHub exists to address this coordination gap. We believe that improving access to primary care contributes to better preventive care, health equity, and a more sustainable healthcare system. Our approach focuses on making clinic intake status transparent and giving patients clear next steps when care isn't immediately available.
